Generalized Space Forms
Spaces with radially symmetric curvature at base point p are shown to be diffeomorphic to space forms. Furthermore, they are either isometric to Rn or Sn under a radially symmetric metric, to RPn with Riemannian universal covering of Sn equipped with a radially symmetric metric, or else have constant curvature outside a metric ball of radius equal to the injectivity
متن کاملOn the $\kappa$-$\mu$/Gamma Generalized Multipath/ Shadowing Fading Distribution
This work is devoted to the formulation and derivation of the κ − μ/gamma distribution which corresponds to A physical fading model. This distribution is composite and is based on the well known κ − μ generalized multipath model and the gamma shadowing model. A special case of the derived model constitutes the κ − μ Extreme/gamma model which accounts for severe multipath and shadowing effects. ...
متن کاملOn the MGFs of Generalized eta-mu and kappa-mu Fading Channels
In this paper, we consider the moment generating functions (MGFs) of generalized fading channels. Specifically, new closed-form expressions, in terms of Meijer’s G-function/Fox’s H-function, for the MGFs of the η − μ and κ − μ fading channels are derived. Note that, the MGFs of some special fading distributions such as Nakagami-m, Nakagsmi-q (Hoyt), and Nakagsmi-n (Rice) can be deduced using ou...
متن کاملUnified Error Rates Analysis of MIMO Space-Time Block Codes over Generalized Shadowed {\kappa}-{\mu} and {\eta}-{\mu} Fading and AWGGN
This paper presents a novel unified performance analysis of Space-Time Block Codes (STBCs) operating in the Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) network and subjected to generalized shadowed fading and noise scenarios. Specifically, we derive novel, simple and accurate average bit error rates (ABER) expressions for coherent modulation schemes in the generalized − and shadowed − fading channels...
متن کاملApplications of quadratic D-forms to generalized quadratic forms
In this paper, we study generalized quadratic forms over a division algebra with involution of the first kind in characteristic two. For this, we associate to every generalized quadratic from a quadratic form on its underlying vector space. It is shown that this form determines the isotropy behavior and the isometry class of generalized quadratic forms.
